Charity Website
MyTechDev
A clear, welcoming website for a charity that gives ambitious African students free STEM and programming training, computing infrastructure and internet.
Sector: Charity & Education (Africa)
Results
- Website designed, built and launched by Migher World for an African education charity
- Programs, partners, impact stories and ambassador applications each have a clear page
- Fast, accessible pages that work on phones and slower connections
The story
MyTechDev (Township Tech Development Foundation) goes into universities across Africa to find students determined to build careers in technology, and gives them training, certification vouchers and the tools to start. It delivers its programs with partners including MongoDB, the Linux Foundation and NSK AI. Migher World designed and built the website that explains the mission, presents the programs, shows real graduate stories and gives students and ambassadors a clear way to take part.
The challenge
A charity working across many universities needs one place that explains who it serves, what the programs are, who its partners are and how a student or volunteer gets involved, in plain language and on ordinary phones and connections.
What we did
We built a fast, accessible website with the mission on the home page, separate pages for About, Programs, Impact and stories and a Program Ambassador application, and partner logos that show who delivers the programs with the charity.
