The story
VULT's ambition was to become the super wallet for the Nigerian market — one app replacing the need to juggle multiple banking apps, mobile money wallets, and virtual card services. Migher World handled both the product experience design and the backend engineering, making it functional enough and trustworthy enough to present to Series A investors.
The challenge
Nigeria's fragmented banking API ecosystem was causing silent transaction failures and virtual card provisioning timeouts. For a fintech app where trust is everything, these invisible failures were producing negative reviews and causing user churn at a critical growth stage.
What we did
We rebuilt the transaction processing layer with a resilient microservices architecture, introduced a message queue to manage transaction state between banking APIs, and reduced virtual card generation from multi-minute waits to under 3 seconds. The UI was redesigned for the kind of clarity and confidence that Nigerian fintech users — and international investors — expect.
