How to choose a web design agency in Lagos in 2027

Why this works

A portfolio shows what an agency can design. A phone call shows whether the site still works, who answered when it broke, and whether the agency was easy to deal with.

Questions to ask before you sign

• Which sites have you built that are live today, and can I speak to the owner?
• Who owns the site, the domain and the hosting at the end?
• What exactly is in the price, and what is not?
• How are security, backups and updates handled after launch?
• Who will do my work, and can I meet them?
• What happens if I want to move to another provider?

Comparing quotes

Ask each agency to list pages, features, hosting, handover and support. A quote that leaves out hosting, security or content is not comparable.

Warning signs

• No live examples
• No written scope
• A domain registered in the agency's name
• Pressure to pay in full before work is shown
